Christian music is different from other genres in that it is the content of the lyrics, as opposed to the style of music, that makes a song be classified into this genre. Christian music may include everything from the traditional hymns to the comtemporary praise and worship songs heard on radio stations today. Christian music has had a very prominent place in my own background and tradition, and I include this section for others who have similar preferences.
